Parking at Abruzzo Airport
The official airport parking lot is located only a few minutes’ walk from the airport’s terminal and it has 500 parking spaces available with the first 15 minutes of parking for free. All parking spaces are uncovered and available 24/7. The first 24 hours of parking cost €10.
Parking fees are paid before exiting the parking lot either through the automatic parking ticket machines found both inside and outside the terminal or at the ticket office. The machines accept cash or cards. For frequent parkers a rechargeable card is available through the ticket office, allowing for a discount on parking. Transfers at Abruzzo Airport
Rental Cars – All car rental companies at Abruzzo Airport have desks in the arrivals area, on landside and the rental car park is located only a few minutes’ walk from the terminal. This is where rental cars are returned to unless the rental car company has instructed otherwise.
Buses – TUA bus lines 8 and 38 connect Pescara Centrale, the Railway station in central Pescara, with the city center and the airport. Buses run from around 6 in the morning to close to midnight, all days of the week. Departures take place approximately every 20 minutes. Line 8 operates during the day on weekdays and Line 38 during early mornings, late evenings and weekends.
Tickets are purchased in ticket kiosks in Pescara, in ticket machines at the airport, or directly on the bus. When purchased on the bus exact change is needed and it is slightly more expensive at around €1.50.
There are buses connecting Pescara with a great variety of places around Italy, including Rome. Transfers between buses take place at or near Pescara Centrale.

Shuttles – There are several shuttle companies offering their services to transfer travelers to or from the airport. These transfers are privately arranged by the traveler or a representative beforehand. Shuttles will drop their customers off outside the Departures area.
